Three ways onto Route 44.
Granby / East Granby
10/202 south to Route 44, turn right — O'Neill's Buick is the opposite corner. 4.7 miles on 44. Snake-handle door on the right side of the building.
Farmington / Unionville
Route 10 north to 44, left at Avon Old Farms Inn. Through Avon into Canton (the road becomes Albany Turnpike). Same grey building, attached to BreMar.

Reptiles and amphibians
Animals from rainforest to desert, with a keeper on hand to talk about how each one lives. Formal school and library programs usually run about an hour with roughly twenty animals, questions, an optional chance to touch select animals, and a feeding demo if you ask for one.
Birthday programs
A looser version of the same visit: the animals are the event, not a bounce-house with a snake in the corner. About twenty creatures, a chance to hold a live reptile, a feeding demonstration if you want it. Book ahead — these fill.
BUGS! Alive
Spiders, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions, cockroaches, giant stick insects, and other bugs, and the jobs they do. The same call-ahead booking as the reptile programs.
