The other first snake they name. Mexican blacks, bananas, high-white cal kings when they have them.
- Handling
- Confident eaters, usually calm once they know the room. Still a snake — secure the lid.
- Enclosure
- Escape-proof. Hide, water, aspen or similar. They will find a gap.
- Heat
- Warm end the mid-80s. Cool side the mid-70s.
- Humidity
- 40–50%. Dry is safer than damp.
- Diet
- Frozen/thawed rodents. Kings eat. That is part of why they are a first snake.
Corn or king. Ask which animal on the rack is eating.
