- They display. They do not want to be a lap lizard.

- Tall, hot, UV-heavy, branches they can actually use. This is not a 20-gallon animal.
- Heat
- Basking 95–110°F. Strong UVB. Cool side still warm.
- Humidity
- Moderate, with a wet and a dry cycle — not a rainforest box.
- Diet
- Insects, and a lot of them while they grow.
Unusual lizards rotate. Call before you drive for a named one.
